Camilla Belle

Camilla Belle (born October 2, 1986) is a Brazilian American actress, director, writer and producer. She portrays Melyssa on Hulu's Dollface.

Biography[]

Belle was born in Los Angeles, California. She was named after a character played by Renata Sorrah in her mother's favorite Brazilian soap opera Cavalo de Aço (1973). However, most people call her by her middle name Belle.

She made her professional debut in a print ad in July 1987. In 1992, she was cast as a lead in her first film, NBC's thriller, Trapped Beneath the Earth. Belle began her career with a small role in the film production of the novel A Little Princess (1995). In The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), she played Cathy Bowman, a young British girl attacked by a pack of Compsognathus.
